Mo Hiroshi Katanishi and his son Ken introduce you to three families of techniques below: Osaekomi-waza ( ) immobilization techniques that are performed when the opponent is lying on his back, both shoulders on the ground. Shime-waza ( ): technical bottlenecks that may involve the respiratory system forcing the opponent to drop quickly (hadaka jime for example), or the system blood of the neck (as sankaku jime).
